Report on Ukrainian Christmas Charity Event
On Saturday, January 10, 2025, a special Ukrainian Christmas Charity Event was held in Sacramento to support refugees and immigrants in need, as well as orphans in Ukraine. This event was specifically organized to provide assistance to low-income immigrants, widowed mothers who arrived under the U4U status, and their children, many of whom are orphans or semi-orphans.

The purpose of the event was to bring hope, support, and resources to these families and children, both locally and in Ukraine, who are navigating challenging circumstances. The evening featured traditional Ukrainian Christmas music, heartfelt kolyadky (carols), and a warm atmosphere where the community came together to give generously.

Participants donated to help:
Children in Ukraine who are orphans and in great need,
Semi-orphans and their widowed mothers who are struggling financially,
Low-income Ukrainian immigrants and refugees in Sacramento.

The funds raised during the event will directly support these families with essential needs and resources, ensuring that they feel cared for and supported during these difficult times.

This event also served as an opportunity to connect the broader community with Ukrainian traditions and foster unity among long-term immigrants and newly arrived refugees. The spirit of generosity, shared culture, and collective support was truly inspiring.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who contributed, participated, and supported this cause. Your kindness and generosity make a real difference in the lives of those in need—both here and across the ocean in Ukraine.
